A view from the old country

Looks like the K family is having a wonderful summer in the mid-west. So many smiling faces.
This pix is from a calendar from Norway. Lyngor, our grand/great grandparents home is the little piece of roof you see at the right side of the pix. What a setting.
A piece of paradise, with housing prices to match. Three little islands without roads or cars...just boats and walkways.
Heads up: Kier moves to Denver this weekend. Rosy & Tyler have a 10th anniversary coming up, Eric and Grethe have birthdays. I have two feral cats available to a good home.

Our Annual Hayward trip.... Brett and I try to get to Hayward,WI at least once a year and this year we were able to enjoy our 4 days of 90 degree weather with Janet and Eric and my sister Donna. It was great ! Brett took Kyle out on the boat and let him drive! Well hope all is well with everyone and we look forward to more pictures of everyone.

All's green in Oregon, except this grain field.....

Summer in Oregon means orchards laden with cherries, apricots and peaches, and farms with wonderful vegetables. Rosy, Tyler, Sophie and Isabel are taking the tour. The wheat field doesn't conjure up my image of Oregon, but the farm view with snow capped Mt. Hood in the background does.

Telephone visits and photos

Computers are fine, but talking to a person is the next best thing to seeing one another in person. I had a nice talk with Grethe and Per recently, as well as Roy, Conor and Pat, Eric and Janet ! With Kier moving to Denver I guess that will mean more phone calls to keep in touch with her. Glad to see so many new photos to the page! Those kids in Chicago are sure cute and growing in leaps and bounds.

Sorry to see you leave San Francisco ! We will miss you but promise to come to see you in Denver.
